Founding father for the US I420 Class, Larry Law, 74, passed away January 18, 2025 in Newport Beach, CA.
Born in Chicago, IL in 1950, it was in 2000 when Larry singlehandedly resurrected the I420 Class in the US, and was President until 2018. He was driven by his desire to improve youth sailing and enable the USA to compete on an international stage. His son Justin sailed I420s until 2005 and Larry stayed to continue the mission of supporting what was then a small, but enthusiastic and growing class. - Full report
